Then the darkness arrives. Clary sage, labdanum, leather and incense descend into the heart alongside tonka beans — smoky, brooding and intensely atmospheric.

The base resolves into sandalwood, benzoin, amber, musk, vanilla and cashmeran — rich, warm and deeply sophisticated.

• Sent back in their original packaging with seals intact

Because fragrances and personal care items are sealed for hygiene reasons, we can only accept these back if the seal is unbroken — unless the item arrived faulty or damaged, in which case we'll always sort it out.
